As part of Breast cancer action month, Friday 14th is Pink for a day, and here at NZ Tax Refunds we’ll be doing our bit to help out!
Come Friday, our office will be sporting its best pink look, and we’ll all be wearing our best pink outfits, we’ll make sure to post up photos, so you can have a laugh with us.
However it won’t all be fun and laughter, to raise funds for the breast cancer awareness foundation we’ll be holding a Sausage sizzle/BBQ for our neighbors and anyone else who wants to show their support.
To date we’ve raised over $20,000 for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation. We wanted to up our game this year and really show how much we care, so we chose the sausage sizzle and cake sale; it’s an event that we can all take part in, raise some much needed funds and have some fun whilst we do it.
To show our support we held a Pink BBQ, we ordered special pink sausages, pink bread and had a pink bake sale, here some photos from the action below, so far we've raised over $369!
The funds raised during Breast Cancer Action Month will help fund vital research into breast cancer in New Zealand, as well as the education, awareness and community outreach programmes that the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation supports.
