
Eight people correctly guessed the total on the Money Trail which resulted in a random prize draw being held as there could only be one winner.

The correct amount of cash of The Money Trail was $1,177!
Here's the answers to the clues.
- Clue 6: “If Aron had a coin for every hour he spent in a rocky situation, he would have the total number of coins on the Money Trail.”
- Answer: Aron Ralston was the main character in the movie ‘127 hours’, there were 127 coins along the Money Trail, 50x$2 and 77x$1.
- Clue 5: "The sum of the middle two digits is equal to the sum of the first and the last digits."
- Answer: The total figure was $1177; both the outside and middle last digits add to 8. Given this clue and taking into account a total over $1000 and less than $1300, we estimated around 29 possible answers.
- Clue 4: “The total amount of money is less than the volume of the world’s largest glass of Mojito.”

- Clue 3: “If Sir Edmund Hillary wanted to climb the cash-roll mountain, he would reach heights that Sir Ernest Rutherford would be proud of.”
- Answer: Total amount of money in both cash rolls was $100; each roll had 10x $5 notes each. Sir Edmund Hillary is on the $5 note, and Sir Ernest Rutherford is on the $100 note.
- Clue 2: “The amount of notes in the money clip is the same as the number of rugby teams who play in the competition that is sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland.”
- Answer: The Royal Bank of Scotland sponsors the 6 nations cup in Europe, there were 6 notes in the Money clip, 1x $50 and 5x $5.
- Clue 1: "The total amount of money is greater than the 13th letter of the alphabet!"
- Answer: The total was greater than $1000: the 13th letter of the Alphabet is ‘M’, in Roman numerals M stands for 1000.
