Recently at the CBS Canterbury Arena the 2011 Christchurch Women’s Lifestyle expo was held, and NZ Tax Refunds was on-site to get involved with some of the action. For us the expo was a huge success, we got the chance to meet face to face with a lot of our existing clients, and we met some new friends who gave us the opportunity to help them claim their tax refunds!
For those who didn’t make it to the expo over the weekend or would just like to revisit, here’s a quick look at our stand and a few other displays that we thought looked interesting.
As well as giving away lots of pens and gold chocolate coins, we had our iPad’s on site, which meant we were able to give clients the chance to find out how much they were owed within 60 seconds of signing up. A big highlight for us was that within an hour of the expo opening, we were able to tell one lucky client she would be receiving a refund of over $800!
Over 15,000 visitors attended the show, and as they entered the display area this is what they saw; it might look quiet now, but once the show opened this entrance way was one of the busiest we have ever seen.
It looks quiet in this photo but at times it was so busy that we found it hard to move around, we thought this mini bar was a pretty cool looking place to stop and relax for a while.
Some of the more eye catching parts of the expo were the many craft and artwork displays.
